National Mentoring Month

January is National Mentoring Month. I’m honored to be recognized by Capital Partners for Education (CPE) as a Mentor. Mentoring is a mutually rewarding experience and I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to meet an amazing young lady and mentors.

I appreciate my mentee’s trust and take my committment seriously. We’ve bonded over reading books, attening workshops, and having delightful conversation over tea. In January, CPE organized an outstanding Library of Congress tour for mentors and mentees. We enjoyed learning about the Library’s fascinating history and architecture.
