I celebrated my birthday two weeks ago and expressed words of wisdom:

When someone tries to discredit you, address it with honesty and progress with dignity.
You’ve probably seen the news story about Geoffrey Owens, former Cosby Show actor, being shamed for working at Trader Joe’s. As a result, the publicity got the attention of Tyler Perry who offered him a job and he accepted.
Walk in your truth. It’s not for everyone to understand nor do you have to explain. This is proof it pays to stay positive in the midst of negativity. Success with Etiquette at its best!
