Thank you for taking the time to attend BEEPs 40th Anniversary celebration held at LeMoyne-Owen College. It was a pleasure meeting you and I enjoyed learning etiquette techniques that will help me succeed in the business world. I have started applying the techniques and they have helped me in ways that I could not have imagined. You provide a great service that is truly needed by current college students as well as recent college graduates. I am adding “Success with Etiquette: Book of Etiquette” to my reading list this year.

You highlighted the power and importance of business etiquette in this day and age, in fact after our conversation; I have developed a deeper understanding of myself and my presentation skills. I no longer put my hands in my pockets (chuckle), this was more difficult than it sounds, and I am projecting my voice more. I express my gratitude and appreciation for your outstanding expertise.

I enjoyed Shawn’s energy and knowledge as she facilitated an interactive training. It was very informative on handling awkward situations in an office environment. More training hours would have been perfect – two hours just wasn’t enough.

I am truly indebted to you for all of the positive insight and knowledge received. I started my corporate internship orientation class and we were to sit at a table full of others who were also a part of the orientation (i.e. my competition). Instantly when I sat, I took out a pen and took up as much space as possible. They knew who had the power and they expressed it when all six of them, who were of various cultures, pointed to me to be their spokesperson. Now it could have been the way I was dressed as well, but it didn’t matter because in my mind I said, “Shawn sure knows what she’s talking about.” Thank you for being a master of your craft.

The knowledge, candor, energy, and professionalism of Shawn were phenomenal. It was interactive and covered the full spectrum of learning without lecturing.

The intensity and role-playing exercises were extremely vital. We were able to observe different situations and learn appropriate ways of dealing with the public.

Success with Etiquette was very informative and worthwhile. Attitude is key and I learned new techniques to apply in my daily interactions. The enthusiasm of Shawn and her interaction with the audience was excellent and exceeded my expectations.
